Self-Defense & Empowerment Course

Our Women’s Self-Defense Course employs a mind and body training approach to maximize each woman’s ability to be safe in her public and private life. Scientific and philosophical principles of the martial art, Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan, are incorporated in the methods taught throughout the course.

Self-defense is an attitude of awareness, capability, and resourcefulness that combines the power of knowledge, psychology, and physical skill to create a margin of safety between you and someone who may want to harm you. The study of Martial Arts is a process of acquiring more refined tools. During this course, you learn and practice skills that will enhance your natural understanding of safety and awareness, practice self-defense scenarios and responses, and focus on your mind/body reaction in self-defense situations.

We also offer customized Self Defense classes for organizations including scouting troops.
